I teeter back and forth on this tax referendum due to how little predominantly Black communities get out of the plan. I believe a transportation plan is necessary to ensure positive growth to our County. But...not on the backs of Black people again. Predominantly white communities are receiving far more for their 1% increase. Let's revisit this plan, allow more Black voices at the table and decision making. The board requirements are too restrictive.I am all for a more equitable transportation plan.
