Libertarian Party of Mecklenburg County's Voter Guide
The Libertarian Party of Mecklenburg County, aka LPMeck has foundational beliefs in the free market, personal liberties and limited government. We place personal property rights at the core of our decisions and understand governments can only derive their powers from the people they govern. We believe that when private enterprise, charitable organizations, and other voluntary associations are allowed to provide their services free from undue government interference they will be able to do so in a more economically sustainable, cost effective, and compassionate way. We envision an increased role for these voluntary associations to accompany a reduction in the spending and mandates of our local government.

We believe in individual rights and responsibilities and limiting government to protecting the rights of the people. We are the only recognized third party in NC and wish to break the hold of the Uniparty on our electoral system.
