Councilwoman Ajmera is a two-time FOP endorsed councilwoman and Chairs the City of Charlotte's Budget Committee and serves as a member of the Housing & Community Safety Committee. Councilwoman Ajmera championed providing city healthcare coverages for families of employees killed in the line of duty after the death of CMPD Officer Joshua Eyer, who was killed on April 29, 2024. Due to Councilwoman Ajmera, this benefit was unanimously approved by all members of council.

Fraternal Order of Police

I endorse Dimple Ajmera for her fiscal expertise and proven record on affordable housing and women's equality, though her support for the $25B transit tax raises equity concerns.
