Gina Knapp has been a strong advocate for our schools during her 4 years on the Board. She has served as Board President and VP.
Stand Up Blue Valley
Knapp has been a big supporter of mental health initiatives, special education, as well as gun violence prevention in our district. I believe she is the only parent of students in the district serving on the Board, which I believe is an important viewpoint to include in decision-making. Knapp is also a Gun Sense Candidate, meaning she has pledged to govern with gun violence prevention in mind.
Colleen Cunningham
Knapp has a focus on students, understands complex school funding, and is a strong advocate for public education. She is endorsed by Stand Up Blue Valley, Game On for Kansas Schools, Blue Valley NEA, KNEA, and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense.
