Knapp has been a big supporter of mental health initiatives, special education, as well as gun violence prevention in our district. I believe she is the only parent of students in the district serving on the Board, which I believe is an important viewpoint to include in decision-making. Knapp is also a Gun Sense Candidate, meaning she has pledged to govern with gun violence prevention in mind.
