Local Voter Guide
Stand Up Blue ValleyJim McMullen was endorsed in 2021 by New York-based 1776 Project PAC in their attempt to take over school boards in several states. McMullen won that election by only 51 votes - after spending $45,000 of his OWN money in the race.
McMullen was removed from his position as BV BOE Vice President after only a few months, following a series of discriminatory statements he made on Twitter using his School Board title. The story made regional news, casting BV Schools in a negative light.

McMullen was an original member of the JoCo area Moms For Liberty chapter and has been a regular featured speaker at their events. MFL has already posted in support of him again this year. McMullenโs ideological association with fringe groups like MFL and the 1776 Project PAC are NOT in line with the majority of Blue Valley voters.
