As a Texas House Representative since 2019, she has sponsored and passed bills on child safety, domestic violence response and other public safety and social issues. Her campaign focuses on public education and increased funding to public schools (opposes private school voucher), affordable housing, Medicaid expansion, reducing healthcare costs and investing in water infrastructure and water recycling.
