Gina Knapp has been a strong advocate for our schools during her 4 years on the Board. She has served as Board President and VP.
Knapp has been a big supporter of mental health initiatives, special education, as well as gun violence prevention in our district. I believe she is the only parent of students in the district serving on the Board, which I believe is an important viewpoint to include in decision-making. Knapp is also a Gun Sense Candidate, meaning she has pledged to govern with gun violence prevention in mind.
Gina Knapp has been a responsible, effective school board member, and we recommend her for re-election. She is currently the board president and has provided thoughtful leadership for BVSD.
