Issue stances
Issue getting the most attention
Housing production
Permanently fund social housing for workers, provide rent relief for large rent increases, and pursue landlord buyouts to prevent property flips and rising rents.
Accelerate housing production in Treasure Island, Central SoMa, Mission Bay, and Downtown. Supports HOME-SF affordability options adding rent-control protections.
Issue with the biggest divide
RESET Center
Eliminate the RESET Center alongside law-enforcement overtime, mass arrests, and jail expansion.
Supports the RESET pilot as an alternative to jail or hospitalization for people arrested for public intoxication.
Police staffing
Opposes expanding police-centered public-safety responses and supports sustained funding for community-led safety approaches.
Increase police staffing through charter amendments and the Rebuilding the Ranks program.
Pride event policing
Investigate SFPD conduct during Trans Pride and Pride Weekend, drop charges against Trans March attendees, and use civilian SFMTA personnel for march traffic.
Supports participation and recruitment of LGBTQ+ uniformed first responders in Pride-related public events.
Corporate tax revenue
Supports the November ballot billionaire-tax measure. Raise revenue from wealthy corporations and reject luxury-property sales tax breaks.
