Blue Valley Voter Guide

Stand Up Blue Valley is a nonpartisan group of parents and patrons in the Blue Valley School District. We are concerned about the impact of legislation on our award-winning schools. We inform voters about the importance of their votes to our schools, and advocate for elected leaders who will support Blue Valley public schools while in office.

David Benson

Dr. Benson is the former Blue Valley Schools Superintendent and a lifelong educator. He served as a Kansas State Legislator; has a strong understanding of school finance and related legislation.

Jim McMullen

During his 4 years on the School Board, McMullen has had a record of votes against mental health supports, against supporting athletes with needed safety equipment, and against technology.
