FWISD is under conservatorship and a board of managers will be appointed this spring taking over decision-making of the FWISD school board, who will then serve in an advisory capacity. At this critical time it’s important that the Texas State Board of Education District 13 representative, which covers many North Texas school districts, be a staunch advocate for FWISD. Tiffany has worked hard since the October announcement to understand the process, ask pertinent questions, and educate the community.
