Mayor Vi Lyles is a battle tested leader with a track record of delivering stability and big wins for the city of Charlotte. Vi has dedicated her public service career to the Queen City for nearly 40 years and prioritizes bipartisan wins to better serve her constituents.

At a time when Charlotte faced fractured leadership and tense relations with the state, Mayor Lyles built trust and delivered progress.

From her time as Budget Director to serving on City Council and the last eight years as Mayor, she has always sought to balance priorities and take a commonsense approach to managing growth and moving our city forward.
